The Amazing Stroopwafels was de eerste band die ik live zag, begin jaren '80 stonden ze vaak in duo-bezetting op de Lijnbaan, Rotterdam (zie foto). Ze spelen nog steeds, buiten op straatfeesten, binnen in theaters, bij akties en demonstraties. En ze maken nog altijd platen (zie track 14).
